By using the website at cathedralcityfence.com or by hiring CD Cathedral City Fence ("we," "us," or "our") to perform fence installation, repair, or related services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or engage our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone who contracts with us for services. We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of our website or services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
CD Cathedral City Fence is a fence contractor based in Cathedral City, California. We provide fence installation, repair, replacement, custom design, gate installation, and related services for residential and commercial properties in the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas.
All services are subject to a written agreement or estimate signed by both parties before work begins. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
All estimates are provided in writing before work begins. An estimate reflects the scope of work discussed at the time of the on-site visit. Prices may change if the scope of work changes, if unforeseen site conditions are discovered (such as underground obstructions, caliche, or utility conflicts), or if you request additions or changes after the estimate is provided.
We will notify you of any change in cost before proceeding with additional work. Verbal quotes or informal conversations are not binding; only written estimates confirmed by both parties establish a price.
Permit fees, if required, will be listed separately in the estimate. Final pricing may vary slightly from the estimate if permit fees change between estimate and permit issuance.
Project start dates are estimates, not guarantees. Scheduling may be affected by weather, permit processing times, material availability, or other circumstances outside our control. We will communicate any significant delays as promptly as possible.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please contact us as early as possible. If we have already pulled permits, ordered materials, or performed site preparation on your behalf, you may be responsible for the costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to unsafe weather conditions, including high wind events, which are common in the Coachella Valley.
Payment terms are specified in the written estimate or contract for each project. A deposit may be required before work begins to cover materials and permit fees. The remaining balance is typically due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of estimate. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by California law. If collection action is required, the customer is responsible for any reasonable collection costs, including attorney fees, to the extent permitted by law.
Before work begins, you are responsible for:
We are not responsible for damage to items left in the work zone that were not removed prior to the start of work.
We handle the permit process for projects that require a building permit. Permit timelines are controlled by the relevant city or county and are outside our control. You agree to cooperate with any permit-related requirements, including providing access for city inspections.
If you request that work begin before a required permit is issued, you assume all risk and responsibility for any resulting code violations, fines, or required remediation. We strongly recommend against proceeding without permits where they are required.
We stand behind our workmanship. If a defect in our installation is reported within one year of project completion, we will return to assess and remedy the issue at no charge, subject to the conditions below.
Our workmanship warranty does not cover:
Manufacturer warranties on materials (posts, panels, hardware) are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the manufacturer's terms. We will provide available manufacturer warranty information upon request.
Except as stated above, our services are provided "as is" and we make no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by California law, CD Cathedral City Fence will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services or your use of our website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a project will not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific project.
